Having LASIK in September of 2015 was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I like to live an active lifestyle playing sports, exercising, and being outdoors, so LASIK has always interested me. I have had to wear glasses and/or contacts since 3rd grade.
Like many patients, my prescription progressed every year or two into my late teens and early twenties. By the time my prescription stabilized I couldn’t see the big “E” on the chart without correction. Now I am 20/15 without correction and don’t have any end-of-the-day dryness that I used to have with my contacts.
During my internships in optometry school I was able to see LASIK and PRK post-operative patients from a variety of surgeons. It showed me that not every surgeon has the same success rate and not every patient had the same experience. After seeing the success and positive feedback from patients who had surgery with Dr. Wexler at TLC Laser Eye Centers, I knew this is where I wanted to have my surgery done.
Dr. Wexler and the TLC staff provide an excellent service to their patients. They take the time to explain each step along the way—from the consultation all the way through post-operative care. I believe it is their customer service that sets them apart and is the reason why they have such positive feedback from their patients.
