Dr. Amanda Edmiston completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis College of Optometry and graduated with highest honors. Dr. Edmiston is currently an active member of several professional organizations including the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association and the St. Louis Optometric Society. Dr. Edmiston specializes in primary care as well as ocular disease management. Born and raised in St. Charles, she currently resides in University City with her fiancé and schnauzer, Piper.
Dr. Alex Helsley is originally from Muldrow, OK, and completed her undergraduate studies at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. Dr. Helsley is currently licensed in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. She loves exploring the cosmetic side of optometry, as well as general family practice. Dr. Helsley and her husband love being outside and exploring new cities with their beautiful daughter Eliana - and she also loves a good book on the beach!
Dr. Ryan Dement received his undergraduate degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis and doctorate from the Inter American University School of Optometry in Puerto Rico. He has traveled to multiple Spanish-speaking countries for mission work and has received training in clinical Spanish. Born in Southeast Missouri and raised in Ridgeland, MS, he currently resides in Chesterfield. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. He is currently accepting patients of all ages and is happy to take care of your vision needs.
Dr. Elizabeth Voss completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Hannibal LaGrange University before going on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis where she graduated with honors. She was also privileged to be the student marshal for her class and was awarded the M. Earl McClellan Dean’s Excellence Award. Dr. Voss specializes in primary and pediatric care as well as ocular disease management, dry eye treatment, and specialty contact lens fitting. Raised in St. Charles County, she now resides in Lincoln County with her husband and son where they enjoy camping, canoeing, and all things outdoors.
Dr. Emma Schafers has been practicing optometry in the St. Louis area for over 15 years. After graduating Cum Laude from Truman State University, she went on to graduate with honors from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, College of Optometry. She is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Missouri Optometric Association. Dr. Schafers was born and raised in the St. Louis area. She currently resides in Ballwin with her husband and three children. Dr. Schafers enjoys traveling, avidly reading, and spending time outdoors with her family. Dr. Schafers believes in providing the highest quality eye care at a personal level.”
Dr. Ananth Selliyan is a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist at Tekwani Vision Center. A native to St. Louis, he proudly returned to serve his home community. Dr. Selliyan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Truman State University, graduating with Cum Laude honors and recognized as a Who’s Who Inductee. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, graduating with Cum Laude honors and inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. Following completion of an Internal Medicine internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, he returned to University of Missouri- Kansas City to complete his Ophthalmology residency.

That’s what I do all day, helping people see and be their best!” Since receiving the Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry in 1985, Dr. Lynch has been treating and caring for patients who have glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, dry eye, and many other conditions that affect vision. He understands that the eyes are a part of the body and if the body is healthy the eyes will be more healthy and see their best throughout life. “Healthy Body Healthy Eyes” is a motto Dr. Lynch uses to remind patients that in order to have the best vision, their body needs to be healthy. Getting plenty of water and good nutrition, staying active, and getting proper amounts of rest increases your chance of having a LifeTime of Good Vision! Dr. Lynch enjoys watching wild life and taking in the beauty of nature in rural Missouri. He seeks ongoing personal and spiritual growth as he loves his family and the memorable moments they create together. “There’s no better place to raise a family than rural Missouri!”
Dr. Matt Wickham is one of the founders of Regional Eyecare Associates. He is originally from Warrensburg, MO and has degrees from Missouri State University and an Advanced Graduate School Certificate from Creighton University-Werner School of Law.
Dr. Wickham received his doctorate and graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 1993. After graduating from optometry school Dr. Wickham made St. Louis his permanent home. He spent 17 years with TLC Laser Eye Centers as the Clinical and Executive Director. Additionally, he served as the Regional Director for surgery centers in Little Rock, AR, Memphis, TN, and Billings, MT. Dr. Wickham also served as Trustee for the St. Louis area for the Missouri Optometric Association for several years. He currently sits on the Board of Directors at Vision Service Plan (VSP), which is the largest eyecare insurance company in the world insuring one in four Americans, 30,000 eye doctors and 90 million people in North America.
Dr. Wickham is married to his high school sweetheart, Ronda, and has three adult daughters and three granddaughters. Dr. Wickham co-founded Regional Eyecare with his friend and classmate Dr. Lisa Mackey upon purchasing the former practice of Dr. Gerald Pacino in 2005. Dr. Wickham enjoys spending time with his family, following Cardinal baseball, traveling and hiking in his spare time.
Dr. Lisa Mackey completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology at the University of Kansas in 1989. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating with honors in 1993 from the University of Missouri-College of Optometry. For almost 30 years she has worked with optometry and ophthalmology to provide outstanding eye care in the St. Charles and St. Louis areas. Her expertise includes contact lenses, the treatment and management of ocular diseases, and pediatrics.
As a co-founder of Regional Eyecare, Dr. Mackey is committed to providing patients with the most progressive, technologically advanced and professional eye care. She believes that care, compassion and individual attention are critical in providing patients with the highest standards of comprehensive care. She feels fortunate to work with an outstanding team at Regional Eyecare to serve and meet the needs of our patients. She currently works out of the Winghaven and Highway K offices.
Dr. Mackey was born and raised in St. Louis and has five children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing yoga and volunteering in her community.
Dr. Ryan Read graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-College of Optometry in 2009. His areas of interest include the treatment and management of ocular disease, the fitting of contact lenses, pediatrics, and the integration of technology and eyecare. He has been the full time optometrist on staff at our Hillsboro location for over 5 years. Dr. Read resides in Hillsboro with his wife Stephanie and their two sons Jadon and Trenton.
Dr. Toebben is a graduate of the Univerisity of Missouri-College of Optometry. He treats patients in both our Wentzville and OFallon office locations. He treats a wide variety of eye related issues for both children and adults including the fitting of eyeglasses and contacts and also eye disease management. Born and raised in the city of Warrenton, he currently resides in the city of Wentzville with his wife Ashley and their two children, Wyatt and Carsyn.
Dr. Amanda Younger is a graduate of the University of Missouri, St. Louis-College of Optometry. Although a native of the St. Louis metropolitan area, she started out practicing in Little Rock, Arkansas. She now resides in St.Charles with her husband, Zach, along with their twin girls, Ryleigh and Raelyn, and two fur babies, Hunter and Bingley. She is currently accepting new patients of all ages, and will happily take care of all of your eye care needs!
Dr. Osseck completed her undergraduate studies at Truman State University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Medicine/Health Science and a minor in Biology. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry Degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis College of Optometry and graduated with highest honors.
Dr. Osseck is currently an active member of several professional organizations including the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, MOA Political Actions Committee, and the St. Louis Optometric Society. She served as an Executive Board member of the Missouri Optometric Association and Trustee of the St. Louis Optometric Society for four years, and currently serves as a member of the Missouri Optometric Association Optometric Relations Committee. She was named Young Optometrist of the Year in 2020 by the Missouri Optometric Association and has been awarded with being a Platinum Specialty Contact Lens Fitter.
Dr. Osseck specializes in ocular disease detection including treatment and management of dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and cataracts. She is extensively trained in specialty contact lens fittings, including scleral and hybrid contact lenses. Born and raised in St. Charles, she currently resides in St. Charles County with her husband and two daughters.
Dr. Holland attended the University of Missouri- St. Louis College of Optometry where she graduated with honors and had the privilege to be the Student Marshall for her class. She was also awarded the Dr. R.A. Koetting Award for scholastic excellence and leadership and the Academic Mentoring Award for exceptional academic service to the students of the College of Optometry. Dr. Holland is a Southeast Missouri native, that is excited to now call O’Fallon, Missouri home. She enjoys exploring the area with her husband, Anthony, and their rescue pittie, Yadi.
Dr. Tekwani, a native of St. Louis, has been affiliated with Regional Eyecare since April 2017. Dr. Tekwani provides medical and surgical care to Regional Eyecare patients monthly at our Winghaven location. Our patients’ surgeries are performed at the St. Charles Surgery Center. A perfect partner with Regional Eyecare Associates, Dr. Tekwani’s mission is to provide the best possible care to every patient he sees.
